Entry Requirements

Austria is a Schengen Treaty country.

Travellers will need a valid passport or identity card, and may need a visa.

According to the Austrian Foriegn Ministry, citizens of European Union countries, Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein, Switzerland, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand do not need a visa to enter Austria and only have to hold a valid passport. Citizens of all other countries will have to hold a visa to enter Austria and attend the conference.

Applications take time so you are encouraged to apply for a visa early by visiting an embassy or consultate of Austria in your country, or at a Schengen country office if there is no Austrian representation where you live.
