Food and Water

The tap water in Vienna comes straight from the mountains and safe to drink. In past conferences bottled water is made available to delegates. 

When you first arrive, take time to find out about sources of food. Most hotels provide some breakfast.

In the conference venue there are often hot meals or sandwiches available, but it is often expensive. Buy fruit and healthy snacks and  from a local store outside the conference and carry them with you.

Accessibility

Safety

Vienna is considered a very safe city although as with anywhere you should practice common sense. One problem is pick pockets and purse snatching so take care with your wallet and bag in public places.
